KLES HOSTELS & RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS, JNMC, CAMPUS, BELAGAVI

The KLE Society’s hostels are located on the J. N. Medical College campus in Belagavi and include 4 boys’ hostels and 5 girls’ hostels. Medical undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as interns, are accommodated in these hostels.

All of the hostels are well maintained and have 24-hours water and electricity. Generator backup is available at all hostels. Each student residing in the hostel is given a cot, study table, and chair, and all rooms are well ventilated and have fans. More than 50% of the rooms include an attached bathroom.

The hostel staff takes great care to keep the place clean. Aquaguards for drinking water are provided at all hostels. The water samples are evaluated for safety to drink by the department of microbiology once every fifteen days.

Once a month, employees of the department of community medicine check all of the hostels and report to the Director of Administration at JNMC. Any flaws identified in the report are addressed.

J.N. Medical College has 224 residential staff quarters (single, double, and three-bed room types) to meet the needs of both teaching and non-teaching staff members.
