KAHER’s Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorsavirmath Medical College (JGMMMC) aims to establish itself as one of the top medical institutions in the country, leveraging our focus on medical education, scientific research, and healthcare service.

The Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorsavirmath Medical College (JGMMMC) of KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (Deemed-to-be-University) being established at Gabbur, Hubballi. It is the Second Medical College of KAHER. The Karnataka Lingayat Education (KLE) Society, the sponsoring society of KAHER has a rich history of imparting quality education in this Norther part of Karnataka, Southern part of Maharashtra and even in Delhi.

All the staff which are required for starting the medical college, around 131 in number have been recruited. The new medical college is all geared up to welcome the 1 st Batch of students for altogether new experiences and robust student-centric teaching-learning process. The focus of teaching and learning strategies is on higher level of learning, critical thinking, problem solving, clinical decision making etc. This college with a strong back up of a 55 years old sister concern medical college with whom there will be continuous exchange of teaching-learning process, will give the students a feeling of an established college.

The college attracts students from all over the world and has several collaborations with national and international bodies such as ICMR, WHO, University of Illinois Chicago USA, University of Missouri Kansas City USA, for teaching and research. The visiting Chief Minister of Perak, Malaysia made note of the impressive achievements of the college and signed an MOU to set up a similar institution in Malaysia. The college offers carefully structured courses that cover the entire gamut of modern medicine and are recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi, also by Malaysian Medical Council and listed in the W.H.O. directory of World Medical Schools.

Reporting for Candidates and Admission Process for UG Allotted candidates (MBBS / BDS) for the year 2023-24

NEET (UG) – 2023 will be conducted by National Testing Agency  (www.ntaneet.nic.in)  for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi will conduct counseling on the basis of NEET merit.

The candidates seeking admission should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) or any other equivalent to 10+2/HSC examination of any recognized Board/University from any School/College studied in India/Abroad after 12 Years of Study.

The candidate should have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taking together in the qualifying examination i.e. PUC II/10+2/HSC or equivalent.

Age: The candidates should complete 17 years of age on or before the first day of December of the year for which admission is sought.

Candidate should be NEET qualified.
